brightman, frank edward (1856-1932), British liturgist. He was librarian of Pusey House and then a fellow of Magdalen College at Oxford. He is known above all for his Liturgies Eastern and Western, Vol. 1, Eastern Liturgies (Oxford, 1896). The second volume never appeared.
