‘abd al-‘azīz ibn sa’d al-dīn. Probably a prominent Copt of the fourteenth or fifteenth century, he is known only from a note that states that a manuscript (national library, paris, Arabe 14, fol. A) belonged to him. This fourteenth-century Coptic manuscript contains the Arabic translation of the Pentateuch made by al-Ḥārith ibn Sinān ibn Sinbāṭ, a West Syrian translator of the ninth century, and well known to the Copts.
